I probably turn more bowls and platters than anything else. Whether it is to be a simple wooden bowl or a coloured platter, I find real satisfaction in getting the shape and wall thickness just right for the wood being turned.

This includes hollow forms, pots, vases and boxes as well as traditional turned items such as candlesticks, chopping boards and cheese boards.
Over the years I have completed a wide variety of non-turned woodworking project. At one end of the scale, this includes some of our garden buildings. On a smaller scale, I particularly like making boxes from fine quality timbers.
